Helping Hands

Helping Hands is the parish organization with coordinates a variety of outreach services. The group is led by Mike and Judy Bodary.

Christ our Light Food Pantry- The food pantry supplies non-perishable food items to walk-ins as well as ongoing donations to the food pantries at St. Anthony and St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral Parishes in Camden.

Cherry Hill Food Pantry- Christ our Light is a supporting parish for the Cherry Hill Food and Outreach Council. Twice a year, the parish runs a large food drive. In addition, the food collected the second weekend of every month is donated to the Cherry Hill food pantry.

Transportation Assistance- Members of Helping Hands assist parishioners with rides to church and to appointments and help out with other transportation needs.

Nursing Home Visitation- Some members of Helping Hands also visit and take communion to residents at area nursing homes and assisted living facilties.
